What We Have Done
In the past several years, Wuf and its principals have worked on
projects addressing
all aspects of computer recovery and recycling for public, private, and non-profit
organizations, municipalities, educational institutions, and major electronic equipment
manufacturers.
They have also prepared business, financial, and operating plans for
several full-service electronics recycling facilities, including:
As a result, Wuf's staff are extremely well versed in the practical opportunities,
challenges, and limitations inherent in all aspects of electronics recycling:
Wuf principals have also visited and/or reviewed the operations of virtually every
consequential electronics recycler in the Northeastern and Western U.S. Wuf
maintains detailed knowledge and connections regarding U.S. and international
markets, specifications, and prices for the intermediate and final products of
electronics recycling, including:
 | whole equipment, components and subassemblies (e.g., chips, hard drives, power supplies, etc.), and |
 | commodities (ferrous, nonferrous, and precious metals, plastics, etc.). |
Wuf has evaluated a broad range of recycling technologies, including monitor recycling and plastics sorting
technologies. Based on that work, we have developed business and operating plans for facilities
using these technologies under
alternative market and operating scenarios.
There are few, if any, aspects of electronics recycling in which Wuf's knowledge and
expertise can be matched.
